Live Online People Management Training and Leadership Mentoring for Leaders in CQC Registered Services

Training 2Manage provides training and leadership mentoring for Registered Managers, Supervisors and Directors, working in CQC-registered health and social care services. Delivery is provided live online via Microsoft Teams, supporting leaders across nursing and care homes, homecare services, GP practices, extra care housing, domiciliary care, independent hospitals, dental practices, and hospices.

the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development with more than 26 years’ experience as an executive Director in CQC-regulated health and social care, including 17 years as a Chief Executive. This background spans HR leadership, organisational governance, regulatory compliance, and executive accountability within complex, high-risk environments.

The training and mentoring approach is firmly grounded in real-world experience. It draws on extensive involvement in managing poor performance and serious misconduct, including chairing disciplinary and appeal hearings and advising on cases involving trade union representation and referrals to external bodies such as the Disclosure & Barring Service and the Nursing & Midwifery Council. This experience enables leaders to better recognise early warning signs, take proportionate and timely action, and reduce the risk of harm to people who use services, staff, and organisations.

A strong emphasis is placed on ethical leadership, early intervention, reflective decision-making, and values-led practice. Effective leadership and a capable workforce are central to improving outcomes for clients and patients, maintaining regulatory compliance, and protecting organisational reputation. Conversely, ineffective leadership can result in poor practice, safeguarding failures, legal proceedings, and enforcement action by the Care Quality Commission.
